3. Booking and confirmation
You book a visit through our website, by phone, or by SMS. Simple bookings (single service, in-zone, under $500 total) are auto-confirmed. Larger or out-of-zone bookings are reviewed by a team member and confirmed by email within one business hour during operating hours (Mon–Sat 9 AM–8 PM).
Service is provided on the zone-day schedule (SW first third of the month, SE second, NW third, NE last). Out-of-zone bookings are subject to a $30 travel fee and additional scheduling.
A minimum visit charge of $140 applies regardless of service selection.
4. Pricing
Prices shown online are estimates based on the information you provide (frame count, home size, lawn size, etc.). The final price is confirmed on-site before work begins. If the actual scope of work materially differs from your booking, we will discuss it with you before proceeding.
Combo discounts apply automatically. Where multiple combos are eligible, the system applies the single combo that gives the highest absolute savings.
5. Payment
Payment is collected on completion of service. We do not require an online deposit. Accepted methods will be confirmed on-site (interac e-transfer, cash, or card via terminal).
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your visit. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee equal to the minimum visit charge ($140) at our discretion.
Weather rescheduling: outdoor services are dependent on conditions. If we reschedule due to weather, there is no fee. We notify you the same day, typically in the morning.
7. Our redo guarantee
If something is not right after we leave — call us. We come back. No charge, no paperwork. The redo guarantee covers the same scope of work as the original visit, claimed within 7 days of completion. It does not cover damage caused by third parties, weather, or subsequent normal use.
8. Access and safety
You agree to provide safe access to the property at the time of service: clear walkways, leashed or contained pets, accurate gate or door codes. We reserve the right to skip portions of a job that would put our crew at risk (e.g. unsafe ladders, hostile animals). In such cases we adjust the invoice to reflect work actually performed.
9. Liability
Tavial Inc. carries general liability insurance for property damage. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of service. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to glass, frames, siding, or landscaping.
- Items not disclosed at booking that affect our methods or pricing.
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, except where required by law.
Our total liability for any single claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant visit, except where Canadian consumer law provides for greater remedies.
10. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Canadian consumer protection law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The version in effect when you book is the version that applies to that booking.
